Description:

Dancing pose with the left leg crushing a demon on an oval padmapeedam attached to a square bhadrapeedam with a horse shoe shaped prabhavali containing twenty seven flames, central flame at the top contains three separate flames joined together. Right leg raised upto the level of head-wears a crown of feather pattern with skull. Hissing Cobra, chabdrakala and datura flower. Thirteen jatas spread out fan-like on each side with interspace filled up with flowers in one row, Large partakundala in left ear, two necklaces and yajnopavita (thread) of three strands. Udarabandha (belly belt) placed too high on the abdhomen. Ardhoraka upto the middle of the thighs. Eight hands, Right top holds axe, second the Trident, third the bell and the fourth a stiff chord. Left top hand raised up with palm facing down. Second holds the antelope, third the nandi, and fourth the damaru .The demon’s head is on the left side of Siva.
